Naghmeh Noorani
Personal information
Naghmeh Noorani is a compassionate, highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep clinical background that spans both women’s health and primary care. She began her medical career in Iran, where she practiced as a general physician and later as an OB/GYN surgeon for more than a decade. During those years, she cared for complex gynecologic conditions, performed advanced procedures, and guided women through high-risk pregnancies — experience that continues to shape her expertise and bedside manner today.
After relocating to the United States, Naghmeh completed advanced nursing education at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, earning her Master of Science in Nursing and becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. This dual foundation as both a former physician and an FNP allows her to deliver comprehensive care for patients of all ages with a uniquely thorough and informed approach.
At Buford Care, Naghmeh blends her strong background in OB/GYN, preventive medicine, and chronic care management to provide personalized, evidence-based treatment. She also performs in-office procedures including endometrial biopsy, IUD insertions, and cervical polypectomy, along with practical solutions for common skin conditions and benign lesion removal.
Fluent in English and Persian, Naghmeh is committed to building trusted, supportive relationships with her patients. Her goal is to empower individuals through education, comfort, and clear communication so they can take control of their health with confidence.
