How to Prepare
A little preparation helps your appointment go smoothly. Please review the checklist below before your visit
- Avoid blood-thinning medicines and supplements — aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E — for about a week to reduce bruising.
- Skip alcohol for 24 hours beforehand and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.
- Tell your provider about your medications, allergies, and any past reaction to Botox or other neuromodulators.
- Let us know if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or feeling unwell, as your treatment may need to be rescheduled.

Botox results typically last 3 to 4 months. Longevity depends on muscle strength, metabolism, and treatment area. With regular treatments, results often last longer over time.
Most patients feel minimal discomfort. The injections use a very fine needle and feel like a small pinch. No anesthesia is required, and the treatment is quick.
Initial results appear within 3 to 5 days, with full results visible in about 10 to 14 days.
